We buy gold bars of any weight and refiner, with or without a certificate. We value them by weight and purity at today’s price, after checking them in front of you.
How we value a bar
Most are fine gold (999.9), stamped with the purity, weight, brand and a serial number. We buy them at the 24ct price in our price table: multiply the weight in grams by that price. Before we pay you, we check the weight, marks, purity and authenticity in front of you.
Certificate, blister pack and serial number
If you still have the blister pack or certificate, bring it unopened, and the invoice if you have it: they help identify the bar. Without them we still buy it, after checking it in the shop.

ID and payment
- ID: DNI, NIE/TIE or passport, original and valid. Without ID we cannot buy.
- Payment: on the spot. Amounts of €1,000 or more cannot be paid in cash when a business is involved (Law 7/2012), so we pay them by bank transfer.
- Receipt: you get an itemised receipt for the sale.
Investment gold and tax: supplies of investment gold, such as bars and certain coins, are VAT-exemptES (in Spanish) under article 140 bis of the VAT law (Law 37/1992). We do not give tax advice: if you are unsure how to declare the sale, ask your tax adviser.
Questions about selling gold bars
Do you buy bars without a certificate?
Yes. Bring it anyway and we check it in the shop before giving you a price.
Do you buy bars of any brand and weight?
Yes, from any maker and of any weight, from small one-gram bars upwards. We check the marks, purity and weight in the shop.
What if the bar is scratched or the blister pack is broken?
We still buy it. We value it by its weight and purity, after checking it in front of you.
