Questions about selling gold
How do you pay me?
On the spot, by bank transfer. If the amount is under €1,000, you can also be paid in cash. Either way, you get an itemised receipt.
Do you buy 9ct and 14ct gold, white gold or broken gold?
Yes. We buy gold of any carat and colour, even if it is broken, incomplete or an odd earring: we pay for the metal by its weight and purity.
Do I need an appointment to sell gold?
No, you can come in during opening hours. If you are bringing a lot of items or would like us to expect you, message us on WhatsApp first.
Do stones add to the price?
No. We pay for the gold by its weight; stones and parts that are not gold are not counted. If you think a piece is worth more for its stones or its designer name, tell us before the valuation.
Can I get a valuation on WhatsApp?
Yes, as a guide. Tell us what the item is, the number stamped on it (750, 585…) and roughly what it weighs. We can only give you the final figure in the shop, after weighing and testing the item.
Why do you ask for my ID?
The law requires us to identify every seller and to record the sale in a register that is reported to the police (in Catalonia, the Mossos d’Esquadra). Without ID we cannot buy.
No-obligation valuation, Monday to Friday, no appointment needed. Rather not sell? Pawn it.
