We go through all the jewellery, coins and silver of an inheritance with you and tell you what each piece is worth at today’s price. No obligation: you decide whether to sell everything, some or nothing.
How we help
- Message us before you come. Let us know if it is a large lot or if several of you are coming.
- Bring the items as they are. Without cleaning or taking them apart, with any certificates.
- We go through everything with you. We separate what is gold, what is silver and what has no value as precious metal. Then we weigh it and test the purity in front of you.
- Take your time to decide. We explain how we reach the figure. You can sell everything, some or nothing; if you sell, you are paid on the spot, with an itemised receipt.
What you can bring
- Gold jewellery, even broken, incomplete or odd pieces. More in sell gold jewellery.
- Gold coins and bars, single or in collections.
- Cutlery, trays and other silver items.
- Boxes of mixed costume and real jewellery: we go through them and tell you what has value as precious metal.
What ID you need
The person selling must bring their DNI, NIE/TIE or passport, original and valid. The sale is made in their name, because the law requires us to identify whoever sells gold or silver and to record the sale.
If the items are part of an estate that has not yet been dividedES (in Spanish), it is wise for the people entitled to them to decide on the sale. If you are unsure who can sell, ask your notary or adviser before you come.
Items that may be worth more than their metal
We pay for the gold and silver each item contains. Some designer jewellery, antiques or collector coins may be worth more: tell us at the start.
Only need to know what it is worth? Gold and jewellery valuation.
Work out what the gold jewellery is worth
If you know the weight and carat of a piece, you can work out an estimate. We confirm the final amount when we weigh and test it in front of you.
Questions about inheritances
Do I have to sell the whole lot?
No. You can sell just some items and keep the rest, or sell nothing. The valuation is free.
What if I do not know which items are gold?
You do not need to know. We go through each item with you and tell you which are gold, which are silver and which have no value as precious metal.
How is a large lot paid?
On the spot, by bank transfer. Amounts of €1,000 or more cannot be paid in cash when a business is involved (Law 7/2012).
How is the price worked out?
By the weight of gold or silver in each item, according to its purity, at the price per gram we publish in Gold price today. Stones and parts that are not precious metal are not counted.
