We pay for gold coins by the fine gold they contain, at today’s buying price: a one-ounce coin (Krugerrand, Maple Leaf or Vienna Philharmonic) holds 31.10 g of pure gold. We check them in front of you.
How we value a gold coin
Its weight times its purity gives the fine gold it contains, and each gram of fine gold is paid at the 24ct price in our price table. Before we pay you, we check the weight, purity and authenticity of each coin in front of you.
For an estimate, choose 999 and enter the grams of fine gold in your coin: 31.1 g for a one-ounce coin.

Old and collector coins
We also buy old gold coins, Spanish and from other countries. Many European coins from the 19th and 20th centuries are 900 fine; if your coin’s purity is not in the table, we work out its price in the shop from the gold it contains.
Our price is based on the gold: if you think your coin has collector value, tell us before the valuation.
A tip: do not clean or polish coins before you bring them. Cleaning can damage the surface and reduce their collector value.
What to bring
- The coins as they are, in their capsule, case or blister pack if you still have it.
- The certificate or the invoice, if you have them: they help identify the coin.
- Your DNI, NIE/TIE or passport, original and valid. Without ID we cannot buy.

Do you buy whole collections?
Yes, single coins or whole collections. If there are many, message us on WhatsApp first so we can set aside the time they need.
How do I know if my coin is gold?
If you are not sure, bring it in. We check in the shop whether it is gold and of what purity, with no obligation.
Do you buy silver coins?

Can you pay me in cash?
Only if the amount is under €1,000, the legal limit for cash payments between a business and a private individual. From that amount, we pay by bank transfer.
